Pros
Salary Some people really try to keep this company running
Cons
HR detached from the reality of company - focusing on organising sandwiches for events, rather than looking at the feedback provided by employees via tools designed for it. I have never seen so passive HR function. When you get hired, you are promised stock-options, bonus, development budget and other great perks... so far no stock option plan (but plenty of "newsletters" sent to show you priorities), the training budget is cut with no explanation and no bonus. Blame culture - Before any thought is spared on solving a problem the main investigation is "who is to blame"... if you show the email trail that it was in fact the detective who made the decision that failed, then you are to blame and fix. As the result people prefer to just let things fall apart rather than raise their hands and show risks. Lack of clear goals and structure - even the org chart is outdated by the year Internal processes that take 80% of your time. The monthly "All hands" meetings provide zero value and are full of corporate talk. No wonder that when the company pretends to be interested in its employees, the employees pretend to do any productive work. No work/life balance
