Pros

Except few people, EVERYONE IS AN CAREFREE A******

Cons

I wish I had read reviews before joining this job, but I couldn't see a single one that was genuine, so I'm going to write about my own traumatic experience with the company. Volocopter is not as colourful as it is portrayed in the outside world You're alone from Day 1 itself. There is no proper introduction to the related task you perform. Don't expect a single piece of "Documentation" for any activity that was performed. Pressurized extremely to carry over ex-employees work and you will be evaluated based on that. You will be interrogated like a culprit in the status meetings Behavior and Language of the Team leads and Supervisors are worse. In the team meetings, the team leads verbally belittled the employees for failing to complete the tasks. People here have been under excessive pressure to perform work outside of their areas of competence in order to keep their employment, and some of them have even been terminated. There is no proper send off or communication when someone leaves the organization, either because they were fired or because they are departing out of frustration. Students are being exploited to the core; they are merely an underpaid workforce. The stress level among students is greater than that of full-time workers. There is a lack of qualified guidance, and thesis and internship students have been supervised by people whose fields of expertise have nothing to do with their respective tasks. There is no adequate staff for IT, mechanical, or electrical handyman work, and students  are the cheap work around solution. I barely ever find students who come here full-time; 4 out  of 100 students join because they have no prior corporate experience and resign within six months of probation. The HR team is inhospitable to employees as usual. There are no trainings, and I don't see any opportunity for career advancement. The organizational structure is very unstable.

Pros

Nobody knows what they are doing so nobody is checking on what you are doing. It is easy to spend money.

Cons

You have to pretend the CEO is your Father.

Pros

Excellent company to experience unique challenges in a new business. Real flat hierarchy and responsibilities share. Everyone is proactive and willing to help. Agile working! It’a possible to work at your best.

Cons

So far several employees still haven’t right mindset for aeronautics. HQ is locate in a small town far from big cities. Procedures still to be developed in detail.
