We’re sorry that you don’t feel your experience as a Volt employee was satisfactory. We don’t feel that staff are treated as ‘machines’, but obviously, like all companies, we do need to be profitable and predominantly the roles within the organisation are sales focussed and as such team performance is important. We are very conscious of our mission statement, ‘fulfilling potential’ and we endeavour to help our staff develop themselves and their careers as they grow with the business. There are several examples of this within our Brussels office, including 20%+ of the team with +/-10 yrs in the company. Our team has also been nominated 2 years in a row by Trends Magazine as one of the “Gazelles” from Brussels (fastest growing companies). We attribute this success to great hires and an investment in training, with budgets growing 50% year on year and 100% in FY19. In 2018 we provided; 280Hrs of internal training and 465Hrs of external business training. We adopt a policy of continual improvement for all processes and know that we need to keep pushing things forward and rely on our teams to help us do this. We’re sad that you don’t feel we provided you with the best working environment and we will strive to do better and hope your experience with us helped you to progress your career and personal objectives.
