There are several "cons" in which pertain to the job itself, and several in which pertain to working for this company.
Job itself:
- Receiving issues (working around receiving hours, dealing with malfunctions in computer managed inventory systems, waiting for transport trucks, change from DSD to Central, etc.)
- Long travel times
- Being a part of the retail industry (being subject to a "guarantee sales" philosophy, having allotted space replaced by better products, etc.)
Company Issues:
- The managers dance around many questions in which you poise, omitting information while not being upfront in their responses
- Many managers portray a bad image. Many use fowl language when dealing with store personal, are unpleasant, smoke in front of the store, act like they run the store, are uneducated and correspond using emails that are so poorly written you need to read them twice to take something away from them
- This company will take money from their distributors for anything and everything you can possibly think of
