Pathetic organisation to be in

Pros

There is nothing good about this organisation. I was constantly depressed while working here.

Cons

It is a horrible organisation to be in. Very strong office politics which make the office environment very depressing. The owner gets shoulder massages from her managers. She even talks very rudely with her workers. They claim to be a learning based organisation but if you go to your manager for a doubt then you are yelled at for not knowing it. They might even lock you in their client room and yell at you for hours. Sometimes you are made to do the job of a peon.

Pros

They train you to be punctual, grammar/spelling error free and to tolerate cringeworthy boss behaviour

Cons

Employees don't leave organizations, They leave bad bosses. The worst place an employee can be, is stuck in an organization with a micro-manager who doesn't care about their development and there are no opportunities for growth and advancement. The approach of the managers itself is so blurred because nobody seems to be working towards a goal. This is an organisation with no vision, We don’t celebrate the teams’ successes, individual contribution goes unnoticed if you aren’t the favourite. There was no real leadership (vision and inspiration) only management (command and control). The culture is basically do as you are told. I became disengaged and focused solely on my salary and looked forward to the weekends. This was the only high point. The workload was unfeasible the team spirit and morale was extremely low. I am glad I left because I feel I have become a better and a more confident individual after getting over this

Come at your own discretion

Pros

Some amount of learning, if you get a good supervisor and if you can take this kind of abusive environment

Cons

The culture is very toxic here. There is Only One Way to Do Things (the Boss’s Way) and everybody is trying to avoid getting yelled at.The directors and their direct protégé are micro-mangers. Managers don't stand up for those under them and the business meetings for resource allocation are equivalent of a gossiping session where they pick upon employees who are not part of it. Corrective feedback is never given to an employee and people just make up their minds about their coworkers. They use words like "paid monkeys", "minions" etc., cross boundaries with people in many ways. One of the top guns ask people to give her massages and talks unprofessionally about her employees behind their back to other employees. They also have frivolous lunch and learns which means employees don't have their lunch breaks where they can wind off or take a mental break. These lunch and learns happen so that the directors can review slides. They are 2-2.5 hours long often culminating into inability to meet deadlines or working overtime.
