Pros

-I honestly don't know if there are any, people say free tickets. But I haven't used any because I've been completely put off and would never step into Vue in my free time. -You get 40% of food but still you can get whatever item it is cheaper in any nearby grocery store. -Working with other employees who hate the job as much as you is nice and makes you feel like you're not alone. But these employees always leave and new ones come, sometimes it's sad when someone you liked leaves.

Cons

Let's begin! -Firstly the wage is 5p above minimum, even for people who have been working there for years still get paid the same. There are no pay rises. -Their work load is split in two bits, concessions (tills) and floor (cleaner) when you are new you will ALWAYS be a cleaner, the management give their friends concession shifts only and throw cleaning onto the newer or less like people. This is an actual fact, a popular girl who works concessions was told to come and help me on floor she gave a pretty little smile and said "please don't make me clean" then got let off, no one wants to do floor because it's hideously understaffed. -There are favourable employees who are permitted to go smoke, chat and sit around while on the clock. There are employees who are allowed to wear trainers even though they always work concessions and don't actually need them like the people who run around the floor all day. -Their training is hideous to non existent, I was thrown onto the floor on my first day and expected to understand the timetable and go screen to screen alone after a quick VERBAL explanation, obviously I was confused and not sure what to do. This lead to me being berated once again by manager. -The amount of work they try to get out of someone for £5.60 is almost hilarious, you'll never be standing still. Going from screen to screen and shouted at by management for not being fast enough then when you try to go faster and leave SPECKS of popcorn you get shouted at again. It's like they don't understand the concept of quantity and quality. -I've worked at Asda for a short time where I was paid DOUBLE for 30% of the hard work Vue pushes you to do. -When you do work at tills you are then subject to sales targets where you pretty much are NOT allowed to sell regular size items. I'm a nice guy and it annoys me when naive people come and buy food from Vue, everything is overpriced to an unimaginable level. Once I was selling popcorn to young kids and am obliged to try and get them to pay more it just makes me feel bad. Please guys just buy popcorn from Tesco, sains, pound shop anything is better than Vue. The popcorn in Vue is not fresh anyways it sits downstairs in a attic for WEEKS and always tastes bad. -The only reason people work for Vue is they can't find anywhere else, all employees feel the same. Vue plucks anyone as employees are disposable in their eyes, I personally had another job offer but naively thought that since I like films and cinema, Vue would be a fun job. I'm just going to end on this, nothing I said was exaggerated in fact I didn't say enough. I could probably write a book on how bad Vue is, don't fall for the trap of working for them especially if it's a London branch. I've been here just about a year now and I'm finally on the verge of leaving, couldnt be happier.

Pros

The team was generally fun and enjoyable to work with. It believe it was the main reason why many people decided to work there for years.

Cons

Always understaffed due to constant necessity to cut hours, customer service always compromised as a result, not enough opportunity for growth within company unless you compromised every other aspect of your life, minimum wage was demotivating for many staff, impossible to have more than a few days off together (due to the management rota being consistently tight - this seemed to be the case across most sites), management team visibly overworked.
