Thank you for your feedback on the team and work culture. This one of our very important core values: Work and Play Together as a team. As a small company, it is challenging to have a “legit HR department” but we do our best with the resources we have and yes we do value our clients very much as they pay for the salaries of our staff. So when staff drop the ball and cost us customers, unfortunately we have to take measures to protect our well performing staff and not lose more customers. It’s never easy to let someone go, but sometimes we have to take measures that are for the greater good of the company.

Thank you for your feedback. As owners of the company we accept accountability for any negative feelings experienced by our staff, whether current or past. We do have high expectations of staff and their levels of performance. These have evolved and grown over the years as our agency has expanded. Our Core Values have been defined as: Results First, Proactive Service, Quality Work, Accountability, Continuous Learning, Work Hard and Play Hard Together as a Team. Staff are directly involved in a mutual dialogue to create and/or update the expectations regarding their role. We expect staff to work their 40 hours a week, but have only once or twice in over 10 years have been requested to work overtime, and more often than not ask staff not to put in extra hours to maintain work/life balance.
