Toxic Management- the Management views employees as property rather than people. They will schedule you for 14 days straight. Once, I was scheduled to work until 1am, and I was told to come back in at 8am. I told management ahead of time that I would need to come in later bc I needed time to eat/sleep. I was told I wasn’t doing my job if I didn’t come in 7 hours after I left. They micromanage you personally and professionally. Once when I had a week off, they told me I wasn’t allowed to leave the state. Poor pay-compared to other CMG stations, WFXT will low ball you. Lack of Upward Mobility-management has favorites who have been at the station for 10+ years. They are given preferential treatment and schedules to the detriment of other employees.
