Totally corrupt organization! I noticed the recent comment from WIPO legal counsel about nice environment at WIPO. The Office of Legal Counsel jointly with IOD and HRMD was systematically involved in covering up crimes and systematic violation of fundamental human rights in WIPO; The management created unbearable work condition. For ease of reference, former ethics officer of WIPO was forced to committed suicide because of bulling and harassment. This fact was reported by different sources including the former Deputy Director General of WIPO who was pushed out from the Organization because he exposed corruption and violation of international sanctions, you can check the article "The Need for Accountability at the World Intellectual Property Organization" published by IP watchdog. They practiced the same approach with the victim oof sexual harassment and rape at WIPO done by senior IOD officer and misinformed the member states about sexual harassment issues at WIPO! Again, WIPO is not only totally corrupt, in a civilized world, WIPO Administration would potentially face criminal charges for all forms of harassment, cover up of sexual harassment and rape, retaliation, and breach of international sanctioned and procurement rules. BE AWARE and STAY AWAY FROM WIPO! You will face barbaric treatment and will be crashed!

Many managers at WIPO should never even get close to a managerial position. The Senior Management Team is mostly fighting between each other. The organization is extremely political and promotions are almost impossible if you don't have your government behind you or if you don't have strong backup within the organization. It's like a gold cage: Financially very good but intellectually it is an insult to work for WIPO.
