Pros

Working with people, and assisting in helping the ones who want to work, in finding a position, and obtain satisfaction for their life.

Cons

Everyone is drowning, the plan is constantly changing and there is little to no consistency. There are a few good people around, but the environment is non-inclusive and silo'd. They'll sell you on one thing and then bully you into thinking its your fault when they give you another job that is destined to failure.

Pros

Supporting young workers get careers started

Cons

Management don't listen to staff concerns when raised. No support , poor structure and systems , promises that never get done. Management pressure and bully staff, constantly threatening there jobs. High pressure environment ,excessive workloads and unreasonable request put onto staff. No consideration to apprentices or staff well-being . Management promote the company as being a leader in the industry but they definately are not. People get promoted into positions they arent suitable or capable of doing which then results into extra work pushed onto the capable workers leading them to breaking point. Certain staff members fly under the radar , gossip , spread rumours and manipulate  the flexible work arrangements the job presents "if you continually tell everyone your so busy  people will eventaully start to believe you and think your a good worker"!! These same people continue getting away with anything they wish to do (usually very little)and are not jeld accountable. Numerous staff have raised these concerns to management but nothing gets done they turn a blind eye leaving these people to their own devices , whilst they continue to tarnish the companies name and reputation. Staff have no one to turn to for support and keep quiet as are in fear of loosing there jobs. High staff turn over!

Pros

Great community feel - working for a great community cause to place kids in jobs. The company has lots of potential to grow into something significant to keep providing these facilities.

Cons

The management staff allow a culture of bullying - turning a complete blind eye to this behaviour and accepting it as normal. If anything, the management team endorse this and the staff put up with it. There is little staff input nor appreciation for hard working staff - it is always push, push, push with no accountability from management. It is always an issue with staff no pulling their weight. Employees are treated like cattle (easy in, easy out) with no appreciation for their out of work circumstances - people raising kids, have mortgages etc - having to rely on their jobs for security. Beware! All staff are placed on 12 month rolling contracts and told that this is "normal practice" as full-time employees. They do this so that they have no obligations to keep you on long term. If you want to work in complete fear with no job security or being lied to, then this would the job for you. Otherwise, avoid at all costs!
