Sweatshop and very poor management,

Pros

Melbourne office in city. The place I worked and think it was the only good thing about this sweatshop. There are nice people working there but very few!

Cons

Office manager (Melbourne office) is very opinionated, self-centered and with bossy attitude. Salaries are butt low and still they expect every one to do 2 or 3 hours free overtime every day. Workload is too much and there are some office principals who think that bullying subordinates is a way to go!

Pros

Big projects Good opportunities Good starting salary if you negotiate Central location There are no other pros to speak of.

Cons

Horrible management. Major office politics in every department. Management support their 'friends' rather than more deserving hard workers so baseless promotions and bonus schemes. Bosses take credit when team has done all the hard work. Toxic and gossiping office culture.

Pros

Great projects (but you often don't get to work on them) Great opportunities (if you happen to be in the right place when people above are forcibly removed or are given poorly thought-out promotions i.e. depending on which way the wind blows) Good coffee machines and copious free booze Seems to be backed by an endless pot of gold somewhere

Cons

If you're looking to stay longer than 18 months, you'll likely experience: Very unstable management structures Unstable leadership Very poor support to project managers Ridiculous disparity between offices A laser-like focus on mega-projects, which comes at the expense of anything else Very confused messaging from management, that alternates between 'we're going under/redundancies' and 'things have never been better/give anyone walking by a job' - sometimes in the same day
