Pros

Free meals every shift, and the food is decent

Cons

Management and leads don't care about you, will work you to your core, do not forgive mistakes you make. They say everything is fine and you'll learn, but secretly hold grudges. Always understaffed. Micromanaged constantly by leads/managers, who are sometimes your only coworkers during a shift. They overhire and let everyone go except for one or two people who they promote to lead then manager so they're locked in forever. Company then continues to expand to new locations rapidly. You'll never be able to get a shift covered if you're sick; they want you to come in anyway. Waba is like a plague and the dirtiest form of capitalism. They even keep all the tips that the cashiers make! You can eat a decent meal during your 10 minute timed break that they track using a timer that beeps when your 10 minutes are up. Avoid unless you enjoy being exploited and never having fun on the job.

Pros

Free food during your breaks

Cons

Really unprofessional management. Essentially offers you the job without telling you that it's a trial period. They keep track of the mistakes you make without telling you or giving advice on how to improve and will decide whether or not to keep you after a month or so. You'll most likely be fired if you make even a few mistakes. The manager would fire employees over text on the day of their shift. They will also still want you to come in to work even if you're sick which just isn't sanitary. Overall, a bad and insensitive work environment.

Pros

There is really nothing good about working here. Only the good food and discounts.

Cons

when I worked at wabagrill, I imagined it as a fun place to work at. I was very mistaken. I only took a part time job. Keep in mind that I had told the supervisor and manager that I had never worked at a fast food restaurant. I was told that that was ok, and that they would help me get to the level that they needed me to. I was only working 5 hours per day 3x a week. I was only kept in the back cutting and restocking food. The second week I started working there, I was told that i wasn't fast enough. I was basically getting compared to someone else who had YEARS of experience at fast food restaurants. They told me i needed to get to the same pace as she was. Then I was brought to the front taking orders and preparing them. Once again, I was told I wasn't fast enough. I told them that it wasn't fair they way i was getting treated because they had told that they would help me in order to get to that level, yet they weren't helping at all. They just expected me to know everything, when it was my first time working at a fast food restaurant, or any food place. The next week, I wasn't added to the schedule for the following two weeks at all. I assumed I had gotten fired. But then the following week, I gave the supervisor a call telling her I was quitting. She acted surprised and questioned me why. I had told her that they were not helping me at all, and since I didn't see my name on the schedule, I figured they didn't want me anymore. She said she hadn't realized my didn't didn't appear on the schedule. She technically begged me to come back, but I diced not to.
