Pros
Liked driving the customers to/from DFW & Love Field airports. The $75 fare for a one-way trip from Waco to DFW was dirt cheap and that helps Baylor students and elderly people on a budget and that was good. The Waco-Streak from a customer standpoint is by far the cheapest transportation to and from DFW and Love Field airports.
Cons
Pay was about $6/hr for a minimum 7 hr day which was about $42 per day. Could not hold another part-time job due to the constant mistakes and schedule changes at the Streak. Also, the website and dispatch claimed that 4 trips per day with scheduled stops at specific places between Waco, TX and Dallas/Ft. Worth but that was not true. Often times only one or two trips were scheduled meaning if you were the one van available then you had to wait hours to get the return passenger. Also, the tips were non-existent. I mean, being a shuttle driver for a 300 mile round-trip really deserves more than $6/hr. Like wait staff Streak drivers only make any money when they get tipped. And, no tips, no overtime, no other compensation. Just a thanks every now and again. But we can't make a living off your expressions of gratitude.
