Of course the dogs will always be the best thing about it, hence the reason of wanting to work there in the first place. The managers and owners are the first people to show that they actually care about the employees. & communication is KEY along with patience. I've thought at times they've forgotten things I've brought up to them, but they do listen and have made me feel like a valued employee. I've learned so much about the dogs and the staff there are always willing to answer and teach you anything you ask to better manage the dogs and improve! Management is understanding when issues that come up with attendance and are willing to step into the play yards as well to cover for people. The small cons are nothing compared to the many pros this place has.
Cons
Drama/ petty gossip on other staff (which will always be at any workplace) has been an occurring issue no matter how many times management addresses on it, it continues... Also It feels like there's not enough rule enforcement with the pcs in the play yards when watching the dogs
The dogs, the staff, the owners, the atmosphere in general. I love working here. The dogs are amazing as always. Their is a lot of good people on staff, all are friendly and nice. The owners literally do everything they can to keep the place running. If it were not for them Wagging Tails would not be in business anymore. I applaud whole heartedly what the owners have done for the company, all the insults and slander they have endured. The accusations of “sexual advances” made in one of the prior reviews is 100% false. Jesse has his own job that he works and does not need to be present at both places, that would drive one mad. I’ve never heard of that rumor and I hear ALOT. Bringing the owners personal lives into a business review is ridiculous. Who cares if they have nice cars or a nice house or go on vacation every once in a while? That’s reward for hard days work.
Cons
AS A CURRENT EMPLOYEE, I do have a few cons. And not to be crossing any lines. Management does need to step up a bit, there needs to be more communication. Drama still exists, and when it does exist. It is managements duty to help stop that drama. Rules that were created NEED to be enforced and I still see management breaking these rules from time to time.
