      Working with students to reach their goals

      The pay was pathetic considering what universities charge for tuition. The office politics were some of the worst I have experienced. There was a lot of talking behind backs and blatant disrespect from professors and department heads. They live in their own world. And I didn’t want to be a part of their childish behavior.

      Pros

      Students hands down are the only reason I stayed as long as I did. Some really great staff too but ultimately they left.

      Cons

      Upper management creates hostile work environments. Changing minds last minute, not taking accountability for actions or words. Truly some of the worst people I have ever worked for. If you don’t play the game or fit the mold they will push you out.
