Pros

Nothing notable to share at this time.

Cons

Walter is a company backed by private equity ownership. They purchase United States owned companies with the sole purpose of running companies into the ground after they have extracted as much profit as possible. (Minnesota Twist Drill, Magnum Carbide, ArcOne, etc.) Textbook PE playbook. In the process of closing down companies they will strip you of all your health benefits to save even more money. Canadian leadership makes ill informed decisions, that only impact US employees. If Walter purchases your company, I highly suggest you seek new employment immediately. They have no business in the US market in any scope.

Pros

You have an opportunity to take training course since it will be a tax credit for company

Cons

The work environment lacks fairness and transparency, with decisions often influenced by personal preferences rather than merit. Leadership in the innovation department tends to prioritize subjective factors over expertise and contributions, creating an atmosphere where growth opportunities are not equally accessible. Constructive feedback is disregarded, and employee input is undervalued, leading to disengagement. Additionally, a lack of clear career progression and recognition for hard work fosters low morale and high turnover. A more structured and impartial approach to talent management would greatly benefit both employees and the organization.
