Pros

The pay here is awesome, you can expect around 10-13 if you're starting out and depending on what you know. The employees are absolutely amazing to work with, some of the staples there (the employees there for longer than 4 months) are delightful to see and always made a positive impact on my day. Schedule flexibility is also good.

Cons

Now, onto the rather egotistical, misogynistic, and abusive management. First off, the management is manipulative, emotionally abusive and asserts their power daily. You can expect a degrading message in the company's messaging system for asking a simple question (where questions are encouraged), public degradation for keying errors, or basically any -error- you make. Threats to your job security; the people is are a walking embodiment of stepping on a Lego. Working in Fulfillment is both a blessing and a curse. The staff make it all so enjoyable, speaking about when we were younger and jamming out to nostalgic music. However again the managers make the experience bittersweet by demanding unreal expectations, and penalizing for not accomplishing such. There's a very distinguishable line between how the women and men are treated. Women are cast to the side and treated as inferior while men are able to do pretty much whatever it is that they want without remorse or action and the higher up on the power scale you are, the more you can get away with. This company needs work, and the people who work there deserve a better business model. There are some amazing people that work at Wanderer and none of them are replaceable, despite how management feels. It makes no sense that for a company who cares about not exploiting animals, the Balinese artisans, and everyone else, that they would bring the abuse and exploitation to their workers. No worker should fear their superiors, only to learn from them. Women shouldn't feel belittled, especially since one of the biggest spiels they have is how their artisans are 70% women.

The worst company that I ever worked for....

Pros

There really are no pros. In theory, there was flextime, but if you used it, it was used against you or you were talked about poorly.

Cons

The company is owned and run by a very young man who has little life or business experience, although to hear him talk, he does. He tries to make the company a very "Googleisk" type of experience. They are a far cry from Google. There is no money. When you are trying to rob Peter every month to pay Paul and having to borrow money to make payroll, things aren't going well. Yet, the owner has multiple apartments and a home in Bali, Always looking out for number 1. Employees are dispensable and replaceable. And witnessed many times that employees were treated very poorly by the owner. I have witnessed the owner and CEO have child-like temper tantrums when he doesn't like what is going on or he doesn't get his way. The pay is extremely poor, especially for management and director level positions. Employees are either left in the dark about what is going on in the company or they are given WAY TOO MUCH information.

Pros

The hired employees are nice. Beginning pay is not terrible.

Cons

The whole atmosphere of the company. It seems like it is purely profits over employees. The CEO would come in often while we are all working and get angry with our work depending on his mood of the day. We feared when he would show up. Many people seemed to leave the company because of the stress caused. Some people felt the management was abusive in their leadership. When it comes down to it, employees are seen as disposable and not cared for.
