Pros
Some technically fantastic solicitors and partners. Individuality seen as a plus unlike some other large firms, which makes for a fun working environment. Faithful to and proud of its northern roots whilst attracting big London clients. Interesting work.
Cons
Male solicitors appear to progress faster. Less able solicitors are promoted and retained which can be frustrating. Recruitment of external candidates to training contracts over highly regarded paralegals internally.
