Favoritism, toxic culture, unstable management, management tends to only like certain folks - not based on merit, but based on connections only. There is a lot of biased behavior you will find here. You will often see that people who don't have any skills (and are maybe even bad at their jobs) are being not only hired, but also promoted. They will make you work for 10 hours everyday and even on the weekend with less salary. No matter how hard you have worked, at the year end review, they will give you a very low score with crap reasoning.
Unlimited PTO: The unlimited PTO is a trap. You will need to officially register every PTO and get that approved from your manager and often from your manager's manager. Often times, they will simply reject the PTO and even give you conditions that you would need to fulfill in order to get the PTO. It is also hard to capitalize if you are always slammed with endless work.
The salary is very low for the amount of work they expect you to do. After discussing compensations within the team, we felt that we are highly underpaid for our roles. But the favorites continue to grow no matter how inefficient they maybe.
Poor transparency - There is no clear path for growth in this company. Furthermore, in the All Hands, the CEO and the leaders will often speak about how they are supposedly doing good from the merchant perspective, but they will never mention the internal plannings, discussions and decisions being taken. they will also fail to mention the company's financial as well as merchant retention failures. This is not a sustainable company.
Attitude - There is often a presence of ego and lack of humility in the leadership at Ware2Go, Inc. This often prevents the employees and the company from growing. You cannot discuss ideas freely. You are also unable to get work done together due to lack of timely co-operation. The "favorite" people can just walk all over you, by consistently acting rude to you and walking like they own the place.
