The staff are nothing but bullies. I worked my butt off for this facility filling in the gaps when they were short workers, which is everyday. I had just come onto a morning shift when I was question by one of the staff as to why a resident wasn’t changed. Um maybe because I just got in the door . Why isn’t this night shift issue ? Where is the outrage when your whole building is sitting in poop? Only wanted to show out and try to embarrass and harass me because a resident family was very upset their sister was sitting feces. That’s the norm for these facilities to be understaffed. I was assigned 15 residents how in the world am I suppose to change 15 people at once ? They only care when somebody start putting a torch on their butts. I didn’t even see this “manager” question why this same resident didn’t have a bandage on her wounds it was leaking pus and blood, packed with poop but yet I’m cornered for a unchanged diaper I hadn’t even gotten to yet because everyone on the floor was soiled with poop. The previous shift before me didn’t change the residents now I’m taking the downfall for them? I think not!
