Pros

Some of the employees are nice.

Cons

Management shows favoritism, they treat employees like criminals, and if you like being yourself DONT WORK HERE! PAY IS HORRIBLE, HOURS ARE MINUTE, AND MOST OF YOUR PEERS ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I have worked for 6 different banks and credit unions both big and small and i would NEVER recommend this branch or company to work for. I have never been treated like less of a person by a job until I came here. I thought because it is smaller that the company would be more easy to relate to and feel welcome but it was the literal opposite. Manager is cold and doesn't discipline her other staff on how they treat their coworkers. I as a minority felt alone, singled out, and picked on EVERYDAY of working at WSB. I WILL TELL MY TRUTH ABOUT WATERSTONE BANK ANY CHANCE I GET!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY AND BROOKFIELD BRANCH 17495 W Capitol Dr Unit O Brookfield WI 53045 IS A HORRIBLE LOCATION.

We are sorry to hear your experience was not what you anticipated it would be when you started at the bank. We continuously strive to be an employer of choice by offering a robust training program, competitive pay and an excellent benefits program. It is unfortunate we fell short of your expectations. We sincerely wish you well in your future endeavors.

Pros

Good health insurance premiums and benefits

Cons

Executive management constantly requesting feedback but does not take it, rather gets offended by it. Micromanagement. Gossipy culture. Favoritism. Long, pointless meetings that mean nothing and waste everyone's time... another tactic to micromanage. Pay is bottom of the barrel.

Pros

Cons

•treated like a child even though given leadership position • talked down and less of a person especially if you speak they will bully you to quit or find a way to fire you. •high turn over because there’s no work life balance they want you there everyday or you owe explanation to your whereabouts. • min of 3 calls a week that are repetitive some weeks can be up to 5 calls that last for one to two • they won’t hire you if you show up 5 mins or late to interview but none of their meetings start on time there’s always technical issues and the speakers are unprepared or say what am I talking about no substance just want to micromanage •if the branch isn’t producing it is your fault even though the target old clients with no products to intrigue new generations or regular people just wealthy and older clients •ask for feedback but doesn’t take it unless it doesn’t make them change too much example will be you make a suggestion they tell you why they do what they do and move on • micromanage you must be a yes person or you’ll be on the mean girls list •very rude emails, looking for someone to blame when customers complain, you are guilty until proven innocent. •gossip about employees tale tellers to be teacher pets about cell phones even though this min customer interaction, very small campaign list, and turnover to the point where you can’t get out to get sales •pay is bottom of the barrel employees who are here don’t know that there’s better opportunities as most of them this is their first bank jobs •no development you better make sales or you will be fired soon no one is coming to help you •anonymous surveys are not anonymous •employees are scarred to speak up
