Pros

- culture - accessible by public transport - perks (food, parties, events, etc) - potential to learn (if you end up reporting to a good manager... depending on teams it can be hit and miss) - working for a big media company has proved to be favourable to my subsequent employers

Cons

- starting salary was lower than the equivalent of working in retail full time. Despite positive appraisals and promotions, salary growth is minimal. - over supply of juniors meant that people could be very protective of work, inhibiting collaboration and mentorship
