One of the worst places I have ever worked. Was hired 6 months ago because they were “short staffed” because an employee quit. After 6 months, I still have not received any training on what I was hired to do. The employee directed to train me actually said “it’s quicker to do it myself than to train someone”. As a result, I fumble through the day. Management told me to ask others for work. Newsflash-that is NOT an employee’s job to beg co workers for something to do because management did not have a plan for on boarding new employees. No one has come to me to give me things to do. Occasionally I sit in someone’s office with them looking over my shoulder as I try to learn. It causes me anxiety and I do not learn well this way. This also doesn’t happen often enough for me to actually learn the job. And forget about asking co workers questions. You will get a snarky condescending answer instead of being treated with respect. I am new to WCC but not new to employment. I have many years of experience and don’t appreciate being treated like I am an idiot because I haven’t received any training.
