Pros

The other front desk employee and the teachers are very kind and helpful

Cons

Management and owner set extremely high standards, everything is high priority and expects way too much of their staff. Not accommodating or understanding of sickness or health concerns. I was never given formal training nor were others in admin and teachers, i was never onboarded officially so I never knew any formal policies. You don’t clock in which often results in working past 5 hours before you take a lunch and the company is not fined for it. They don’t leave any room to advocate for yourself nor to improve. They have extremely high overturn, my position alone they have not been able to keep anyone longer than a few months. I’ve worked many high stress demanding jobs very successfully but there is zero support to improve. Horrendous communication with management, often will go days even weeks with no response to my questions as well as client complaints and concerns go long periods of time before addressed. However front desk will take the heat for it everytime. They only care about money.

Pros

Managed Schedules, Busy school = Students, Competitive Pay, Security cameras, clean and modern facilities, helpful admin staff, experienced and thoughtful owner.

Cons

Challenge to keep work-life balance. But that comes with experience.
