Pros

A stint here will help you get a leg up in your career if you move on at the right time

Cons

This company is a poster child of Indian startup ecosystem. Run by extremely out of depth founders, and managers. Most seniors get very insecure if their colleagues are more knowledgeable or experienced than them. Any new joinee must be very careful who they trust. Almost everyone is a possible via media to the founders and is a squealer. The company is run like a baniya company while the founders extol the future prospects of their company to unsuspecting employees.

Pros

I value the freedom to explore diverse technologies at Wealthy, fostering innovation and adaptability. The encouragement of creative thinking empowers me to contribute innovative ideas. Additionally, the supportive atmosphere among co-developers at Wealthy facilitates collaboration and growth. The relaxed dress code further enhances a comfortable work environment, allowing for self-expression while maintaining professionalism. These aspects collectively create a dynamic culture at Wealthy that values individuality and promotes personal and professional development.

Cons

I regret to say that my experience with the company's culture has been deeply concerning. There is a blatant lack of appreciation for employees' hard work, as evidenced by the absence of salary hikes despite consistent overtime and exemplary performance in challenging tasks. Promises of salary increases have repeatedly been made but never honored, leading to a pervasive sense of demoralization among the workforce. The work environment is toxic, characterized by excessive pressure on productivity at the expense of work-life balance. The absence of vacation time, while not a primary concern, reflects a broader disregard for employee well-being and overall morale. The founder's management style, marked by arbitrary task assignments and a lack of transparency, exacerbates the stressful atmosphere. Moreover, the company's strict timelines and severe repercussions for minor errors, including unwarranted terminations, foster a culture of fear and distrust rather than one of growth and development. There are also disturbing reports of discriminatory practices within the organization, where certain individuals receive preferential treatment while others face unfair treatment and unequal opportunities. Notably, there have been multiple cases of employee terminations with vague reasons provided, raising suspicions that they may be driven by cost considerations. In summary, the company's culture is fundamentally flawed and fails to provide a supportive and equitable work environment. I strongly advise against considering this company if you prioritize a fair, inclusive, and respectful workplace. The persistent lack of salary hikes despite deserving efforts and the presence of discriminatory practices underscore the urgent need for systemic change within the organization.
