Pros
Beautiful office space, in centre of London if you have enough £ to spend. Free tea, coffee, fruit, biscuits and haribos. Lots of evening events with loads of free alcohol- but you have to work the events do best to stay sober.
Cons
Pressure is killing. Constantly pushed to achieve higher targets and better margins. Pay is not good unless you are senior management. Only 10 sick days paid per year, then it’s SSP and you build up a bad Bradford points. Totally never present MD. He’s always working from homes but the rest of us are pushed to work from the office. Obligated to attend functions up country and OOH, they finish very late and you have to pay your own way home. Anyone lower than PB or senior management is overlooked, invisible and underpaid. Loads of PBS and revenue generators but severely under resourced in admin staff. Male dominated with a few token females mostly in lower roles. Money is spread like horse muck on events and image and not on pay and benefits. It’s Family run and if you don’t sell your soul you won’t be part of the team. Watch Tom Cruise in The Firm and you will understand. The worst HR you’ll ever experience.
