Pros

Guys .. Very honest, thr is nothing good about this place am not gonna lie. May be easy to get a job when you have no exp!!

Cons

I don't know where to start. I have worked here for almost 3 years. I had to take up lots of certifications n courses to finally find a job outside. 1. No work life balance 2. No respect for employees. 3. Despite being a product company the attrition rate is insanely high almost 80%!! Even then the owners don't do anything to make this place any better. 4. Someone said in an review that they treat women employees at par. That's a complete lie. They have no respect for women employees. They think once they get married they don't work n all other nasty remarks. 5. They micro manage .. Like they calculate your pee breaks too 😴 6. Full time job of the HR is to gossip n update the management with same info 7. They don't pay one single penny for any commercial tool. Everything has to be open source. 8. Official timing is 10 am to 7 pm. But if you leave at 7 your year end review is screwed 9. Employees are expected to work after they go home as well as over the weekend. Without any reward or extra money.

Pros

Webcetera is a product based company and have small employee base-as good as just 120!! So, if you are assigned a paramount task, you may become accountable for directly reporting to Directors/CEO. Webcetera deals with "Auto Insurance" & "Home Insurance" - You will get to learn lot of things related to Business Domain which might be useful for you if you are considering to grow in BFSI domain, of-course that is specially related to "Auto/Home" - Insurance.

Cons

Not sure, where to start!!! Because, there are so much to report!! I can easily publish a book cursing Webcetera. Ok, let me give my best shot in expressing my feeling towards this company. Please see below points my friends!! - The worst thing that can happen to you is "Webcetera"!! - Usually Freshers will be offered job bearing the title "Script Engineer"!! - If you are being offered a role of "Script Engineer" - please reject the offer or ask them a project in DotNet. Because the technology which they use is nowhere in sight!! In terms of experience, you won't gain anything - Work culture is horrible. A very non friendly environment!! Even if you use Cellphone they will look at you with suspicion - No respect for members. You will be treated like slaves - that is for sure!! - Hectic work will be showered on you & also you may be called to work on weekend. Interestingly, you wont be paid extra bucks or even won't be awarded any comp-off. Never heard of such things. - Testing team are treated like dogs. No respect!!

Pros

The company is pretty much in the heart of the city so no need to wait for the weekends, The company offers a pretty good and a reasonable package, A lot of social activities that goes around to keep you engaged.

Cons

The company is technologically backward, The well experienced team leads and tech leads hardly no the use of languages and their appropriate use's, They entire company is divided into some 3 - 4 parts and I landed up in something called as "Script Engineer", Was advised by the HR that this is the overall designation that everyone gets in the company. I landed up in an SQL domain and was flabbergast at their mindless ways of using it. Hardly 5 people in the team understand the power of the language, The rest are sheep's made to believe that they excel in the domain, An experienced developer doesn't know the use of basic features in Excel or in SQL, Team leads follow the AGILE process, Seriously? You divide the team into two parts, Testing and Development, One has access to SQL and the Other takes the output in Spreadsheets and the testing team starts to manually verify the data (Yes, it is manual work). The company is influenced by the western culture that ppl from the US of A are worshiped, A single comment from them against you ensures the rage and wrath of the team lead and before you could correct the error, Everyone in the team, the floor and the entire building gets to know about your mistake. You'll be made fun of and ridiculed. Lets talk about the people now, They are superb individuals! They are very friendly to the core and yet egoistic and equivocal people that are so easily influenced by their superiors that they are moved to the wrong path! The management has a clear "Divide and Conquer" Policy by dividing the employees based on their contribution. The have Business Critical Individuals who are favored over the rest. Why does a development team need them? The servers they host are so slow that it literally breaks your mind!
