      Pros

      The kid's place team is genuinely like a family, and management is more reasonable than any other place I've worked. I get to feel like I'm actually making a difference in kids place and I get to work with people I love.

      Co-workers, our students, access to JCC facilities (though you will be so overworked you may never actually get a chance to use them)

      Cons

      Pays Non-living wage, huge workload, poor communication with staff, toxic work culture. The amount of things that happen behind closed doors is too ridiculous to list. Also, our contracts state we may not discuss pay with coworkers despite this being ILLEGAL

      The staff is great and are all their to support the kids

      Cons

      Management is disorganized and you're expected to learn on the job (they'll say that they will train you but that never happens) Pay should be better
