Pros

- There are a few exceptional people who work here. (Including the President of Garland) - They are kind, driven, and understand the concept of team-work. - If you are a hard-working, driven person, and you have the opportunity to work with them; learn everything you can from them. Build lasting professional relationships with them, and keep in touch with them.

Cons

- Other than the handful mentioned above, the workforce at this location, leave a lot to be desired. They are spiteful, petty and only care about one of two things: Themselves or The Bottom Line. - Management is weak and will pretend to care about your professional development when all they care about is you doing your job, and being able to tick the correct boxes. There is no room for creative thinkers who want to make the business better and improve the status quo. - Co-workers often lived by the motto, "Its not my job", or ""We have always done it this way" which can be exhausting when looking for support from your team. - HR is untrustworthy and exceptionally inept. Do not make the mistake of thinking they have your best interest at heart; they do not. - Do not trust anyone with personal information; Gossipmongers galore. - A lot of turn over. I personally witnessed the exodus of over 30 employees while working here. - I left on my own terms because I recognized my worth as a person and an employee.

Pros

Good benefits Some really great people to work with. Nice HQ facilities.

Cons

Where do you even start with this Barnum and Bailey operation? Lack of internal controls, leadership that is out of touch with the business, and upper management stuck in the 80's. This company should have never went public and that is evident in the fact that the CEO ditched this place before the stock price tanked. Welbilt did not have, nor does it have today, the leadership to move this company forward. When I interviewed at Welbilt, I was told by HR that they were working on improving the culture. Sadly, I saw it get worse and not better during my time there. I doubt this company has a future under the current leadership. This place needs cleaned out from the director level and up. During my time, I was told time after time of the problems that existed years ago and personnel that should have been shown the door years ago and they were still there. Nothing changed. Bureaucracy runs wild at Welbilt, which creates log jams and keeps projects from getting done. Simple projects do not get done because 15 people have to agree to them, even though they know nothing about the project. Finally, when times get tough the first thing they do is lay people off, but never do management positions get laid off. You have VP's reporting to VP's and layer after layer of management. In short, this place can't even put together a competent org. chart.

Pros

Car parking, office layout, pay, holiday, staffroom and facilities.

Cons

Appauling IT support. Software that is vital to the role, not up to the job. Disconnect between departments. Schism. Management that know the software is poor but try to make you think it's you that is faulty.. some very nice staff there but also some all too eager to throw you under the bus. No windows open in the heat of summer and air con not switched on to keep a few happy over the suffering of the many. Pidgeon feeders on window sills are breeding ground for all the germs and disease that pidgeons carry. .. Awful customer service. Some staff feel it is acceptable to talk down to customers of ethnic origin. Will pile on responsability to your work load without having the manners to discuss it with you first. Staff bad mouthing past colleagues.
