      Innovative, about all I can say

      Can’t keep employees especially nurses, no work to life balance, all about growing but can’t manage patients they have, horrible patient care, not sure how they pass certification.

      Pros

      Good caseload mix with Orthopedic as well as complex patients with CHF. I have the best clinical manager who is great working through the Oasis mine field and I have learned more from her than at any other company I have worked.

      Cons

      Caseload can get very heavy at times, but paraprofessional staff has been hired to help with that. In home health, one must have good boundaries and know what you can do and when to say no. It is not personal. I have seen a number of people who become very angry when it is not the company, it is the personality of the clinician.

      On call difficult due to large service area, case management load huge and daily visit expectation sometimes 12+ patients

      Thanks for your feedback! Well Care's management team is working to implement a revamped on-call plan, once more RNs are hired. Nurses should not have to take call more than a few times a month. As far as a caseload, the visit expectation is not 12+ patients . The expectation is 5-7 visits a day. We hope this clarifies some things and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
