Pros

Benefits are amazing - salary was good A few nice co-workers Nice CEO but he's clueless about what his EVP is doing and how his employees feel - he's surrounded by yes men/women and lets the EVP and another employee who has no real banking experience run things

Cons

Most unprofessional place I've ever worked and I worked for a Mom and Pop company Bank run by an EVP with zero bank experience and zero clue -marketing consists of ad in magazine every 6 mths and sponsoring events. Mangers have zero clue how to manage. Mine were extremely knowledgeable about the job but never managed. Only saw them when they had something to blame on you. One denied own handwriting to get out of something No procedures NO training Zero consistency in the branches Calls to back offices are for questions Managers should be able to answer Read the reviews here before you decide to apply - they all say the same thing and they are all true All talk no action - like to write things and hand them out but all they do is hand things out - no follow up and again NO training Big talk of "Premier" Service and other than a few exceptions who came into the bank knowing how to perform customer service there is nothing Premier about them High new employee turn over - 7 of a company size of 70 left in one year

Not worth it

Pros

There is nothing good about these people.

Cons

The company has self centered people working in their branches and even corporate office. The culture of the company is good but every colleague fails to adhere. Any problems or concerns brought up to HR and management just sits in a limbo and nothing is done to change the situation. The HR doesn't seem to have an eye for good people hence they are leaving. You're wasting your time if you're even thinking about getting a job here.

Mislead on Job.

Pros

The CEO is great and he recognizes good/hard working people. Small bank and everyone know each other for the most part.

Cons

On the other hand from a technical standpoint I believe that i was mislead on the job position. It seems like some of their processes were broken and I really couldn't find my place. In my opinion the bank is not ready to grow their IT staff. The IT dept uses a lot of consulting help to manage mostly everything. Do not expect to introduce change or new systems, If you are a young motivated individual who wants to excel in their IT career i would avoid any IT job posting from here. Since a help desk position cannot really perform help desk duties.
