Pros

Since leaving the company, most of the senior management has been ousted. Also they are in the process of merging with their main competition.

Cons

High deductible health insurance, no employee in-house medical care. Read that as - A major health system that makes their employee's pay more for personal health care than the average patient that comes in the door.

Pros

Dedicated to medicine and technology. Use EPIC system wide to improve patient care. Tries to provide same level of patient care in small towns as it does in large towns. Spends a lot of effort training and educating. Company likes to promote from within and grow their family.

Cons

Can get a little too bogged down in rules and regulations. Too behind the times in dress and appearance code. Could update non-medical software as much as medical software.

Horrible health insurance for team members, (which is so ironic, considering it is a health facility), constant layoff concerns with merger of 2 health systems, pay is low for RNs starting out, now very few employment options of healthcare due to merger.
