Pros
They have a new CEO who has made some positive changes including increased salaries, annual monetary bonuses, 4/10 or 9/80 schedule, new clinic cell phones, quarterly coffee and donuts with executive staff in order to give all employees a chance to converse with upper management. They have a genuine interest in serving the community although they are DMH contracted. You can get some great experience towards licensure. You will earn your hours quickly.
Cons
They are DMH contracted so that means lots of paperwork and potential for burn out. Productivity requirement is high but no different than other DMH contracted agencies. Lots of focus on contact hours (number of clients seen per week) and billing. If you’re not a self starter, they WILL micromanage you. Be ready to travel a lot!
