Pros

Good stepping stone to build your resume to ditch for a better company.

Cons

Not enough work to make for a productive day. 8 hours goes by slowly when projects run short. I was proactive in requesting more work, but not enough work brought in. HR is terrible!! Does upper management do anything? Some workers (brown nosers) are downright bullies there which make for a poor work environment.

Not a great place to work

Pros

The location was nice; some of the people were very pleasant to work with. As a company, they did try to promote employee happiness and showed some appreciation. They do have a large group of employees that work hard and want to succeed.

Cons

It was a very unprofessional organization where shouting matches were not found to be odd. Feeback given by management was bias and inconsistent; one moment you are doing a great job, the next you weren't, so you never knew what was thought of you and whether or not you needed to grow your skills. Favoritism was shown to employees and it was very obvious. Human Resources was untrustworthy. If you mentioned something in confidence, it would not remain so. Unfortunately, as an organization, they did not seem open to improving work processes even though it was stated they were. If you are looking an organization highly skilled in project management, this is not really a great place to work. General project management skills are not followed and you feel as though project reporting is unethical. Unfortunately, I have worked in organizations that were much more professional, so this was not a good experience. Also, despite efforts to obtain more work, there never seemed to be enough to do, which makes for a long day, especially when the expectation is to be there more than 8hrs.

Not So Great

Pros

Some of the staff are great and strive to do professional work. Company offers free parking.

Cons

If you kiss up to the right people, you can advance. The company's project management guy is very good at creating dissension amongst the staff. No confidentiality within HR. If you are one of the many this company has laid off, forget any kind of support.
