Pros

The properties are nice and you might work with hreat people at your property, but tje corporate office is awful. They curse at you, talk down to you, and set you up for failure.

Cons

They have no structure, no training, they dont communicate goals or expectations with site staff. When they do communicate with you its rude, demeaning, and involves being cursed at. They dont believe in customer service. And they approvw applicants based on whatever mood they are in! Ever hear of fair housing? They lied at tje interview to several of us. They dont provide you with the basic tools to do your job, then get upset when the job isnt done. They make everyone salaryso they can work you to death. You work 6 and 7 days a week well over 40 hours a week, without so much as a thank you. They need to be investigated.

Pros

The residents were the best part of the job.

Cons

Wendover puts up a good front that is very palatable to new hires. However, attitudes change very quickly after an employment contract is signed. Senior management speaks to property level management as if they are children. They do not and will no answer questions that are essential to running the property successfully forcing site staffs hand to make a decision on their own. Once a decision is made there is a 99% chance you will get backlash for it. If you question senior management about something they ask you to do, even if it’s just for clarity, you’re officially put on a list and they will make a case and do everything in their power to get rid of you. If you suggest ideas to improve performance, resident retention, etc... you will be met with resentment. Once you are inevitably forced out of a job or choose to leave on your own accord they will then implement the ideas you brought up and take full credit. I could go on and on but you get the idea.

Pros

Wendover Housing Partners Is a GREAT place to work. I love getting up everyday and going to work. The company takes great care of the employees. You are treated more like family than anything else. A person can pick up the phone at any time and call corporate if help is needed. Everyone pulls together as a team to get the job done. From the top down everyone pitches in. This is the best company I have ever worked for. I finally have my dream career. There are so many opportunities with Wendover to be promoted if you want it. We are a fast growing company that builds an amazing product and takes great care of its residents too. How does it get any better?

Cons

There are no cons as far as I am concerned. A really great company, that I am proud to say I work for.
