Dynamic only in high turnover not a stable company - Run far far away from this company
Pros
With all small companies you can get involved and make a difference quickly, if you are so motivated, Wesley International is no different. There is a lot to do and people wear many hats. I was not with Wesley International very long but the Administrative Assistant was joy to work with; she sees it all and is very kind.
Cons
Do NOT work here unless you are a production worker. I would come in at 7 a.m. and leave after 5 and sometimes 6. Very long work day and emails in the evenings. Wesley is an AT-WILL company but doesn't tell you this until you have signed a contract and moved your family here. I was only employed a few weeks and let go without a reason or notice just escorted out. I had just leased a new apartment, new phone per the CEO's request, and bought a car. I left a very good job to work for this company because it was sold to me as a great opportunity. I was never given a severance package. I worked very hard for this company and the CEO is impossible to work with or for. There is no consistency in the workplace and he has an unapologetic hard demeanor. He says things that are just rude and insensitive. Wesley fires employees constantly (not on PIPs or broke a policy) and doesn't value their staff, at all. I was brought in to change the culture and the CEO can't make up his mind as to what he wants or doesn't want. There is no clear direction and no 1, 3, 5 year plan just we want to expand to multiple locations - it is a nice dream but will never become a reality under the current leadership. I was brought in to help reduce turnover and promote a culture of learning/employee development, however, while I was trying, in the short time I was there, he fire me - how ironic. I am glad I don't work here anymore because of how I was treated but now financially struggling since spent more money than I was given to move my family here. This company created a hardship for my children and me. Culture - The employees here are burnt out, stressed since they have seen so much turnover, their boss is a tyrant, company is losing money and clients due to fast growth and not strong manufacturing leadership. I don't know how they expect to run a company with "lumps of clay" who lack the appropriate skillsets or degrees for the roles they have been placed in. I have never seen anything like this in all my professional career. I know I could have made a difference if given the opportunity but in 30 days I couldn't perform a miracle. Company aesthetics - Building are not well maintained it is an old disgusting manufacturing building. My office was not painted. When I came in it was completely filthy so I hired a new cleaning crew, which helped. At least it created some positive morale with the employees since they had been complaining for a long time I was told and no one cared to fix it.
