Don’t believe the hype...

Pros

Fascinating industry to work in. The membership-based concept and mission has definitely disrupted the private aviation space. The 1% of genuine, good people that work at the company.

Cons

Let’s see, where should I begin here. There are just so many. -Company culture is fake, fake, fake. -Zero work/life balance. -Majority of the people working here are inexperienced “friends” of the CEO or “friend’s kids” that are handed lofty titles/salaries because the CEO owes a favor to the “friend”. -Employees are brain washed into working endless hours for the “big payoff”. -Interns and “friends” are treated like gold hence all the ‘FAKE’ 5 star reviews on here. Damage control alert: It couldn’t be any more clear that HR is asking employees to post 5-star reviews. -SVPs, EVPs & C-suite level personnel are disrespectful, arrogant silver-spoon fed snobs that will belittle/bully you on a daily basis in front of co-workers, mock and body shame you, gaslight you, etc. Defamation of character, anyone? If this sounds like your “dream job” where almost everyone is a “founding partner”, then this frat house is for you. Simply put: don’t believe the hype. Upper management does its best to create a shiny, exterior culture on the outside. The inside is about as dysfunctional and toxic as a culture you can get where the majority of current employees HATE working there and don’t get compensated nearly enough for all the daily mental abuse they have to endure. Do yourself, and career, a favor and find a company that will not only value your talents but respect you as a human being.

Disaster of a place

Pros

Only top level executives get a cushy job, lots of perks, no accountably, your own cash cow. Everyone else gets shafted.

Cons

Barely any policies or procedures, even after a release management policy was put into action that will streamline the process and make everyone’s life better it gets overridden and trampled upon on a daily basis, best practices are an afterthought, corners are being cut all the time, bad code in production is the norm, nonstop hotfixes every single day, the same hotfix with be hotfixed multiple times. Not faulting the developers or QA but faulting the management which treats the tech team like a cattle farm. Tech leadership is incompetent, weak and unprofessional with zero accountability for their actions, they are uninterested and only there to get paid and brag about their summer houses and lavish vacations, lots of wasteful spending, decisions never based on cost benefit studies but based on personal relationships with providers or vendors. Employee and talent retention is an afterthought. Promotions and bonuses are given to the few that management likes, not based on your hard work and your dedication and contribution to the company but based on how the CTO/CIO felt that day. No PTO pay or severance after many years of service, worthless stock options. A Disaster of an SPAC.
