Pros

the only pro is that I learned how to deal with terrible co workers and terrible customers which made me realize how lucky I am now at my dream job making double than I was at Whisker and appreciating the amazing people I work with now.

Cons

Even though you work remote, you are being micro managed. Team leads do nothing besides talk badly about everyone. Dani especially. You cannot trust anyone because they will use anything you say against you. If you professionally and kindly bring up any concerns at all , you will get ignored time and time again so when you finally get more aggressive for answers, you get labeled as toxic and negative. What is toxic and negative is not caring about your employees or their career path. Lying to them that there will be growth opportunities and a bright future. Management AKA Jacob does not care about anything other than sales. This company went through MULTIPLE directors and not one of them cared about their employees in any type of way. Everyone gets different pay- it is 10000000% based on favoritism. Most the Team leads do not even know the difference between their, they're, and there or your and you're. To get "promoted" to TL is all based on favoritism too- who can suck up the best. Oh and the product doesn't work. Litter-robot breaks constantly and the app is non-functional.

Pros

- WAH - Decent pay - Company provides equipment

Cons

- No support - No work/life balance - Have to score yourself for a raise and then wait months for said raise and you do not know if you are ever going to get it - Management does not care about agents - No care for mental health or health in general - Upper management lets team leads walk all over agents, talk down to, and harass them - No flexibility in schedule - Company is on a points system and will write you up for anything and everything, including medical - No sick time to cover doctor appointments - Will make you sign an NDA if they fire you because they do not want people talking bad about the company - Company will ambush an agent, pull them into a meeting, and write them up, even though they never received a verbal warning - HR does not listen - High turnover rate - Get told to conform or leave - Have to lie to customers because the company is to incompetent to delegate their issues properly when it comes to product availability and quality - Constantly short staffed - No notice of mandatory OT (they will start it the day of and expect you to comply) - Team leads will text you in the middle of the night to harass you, and this includes outside of working hours - Get bullied if you say no to something you are not comfortable with - No way to move up in the company unless you are a favorite - Forced to do other department jobs without an increase in pay for those roles - If you are sick, the company will fight with you about letting you do an alternative task like emails or chat (they rather you hack a lung on the phone with a customer or get pointed because they force you to call out) - Clear favoritism for specific roles - Refuse to hire within the company - Will hire team leads who know nothing about completing the role - Will hire trainers who have no knowledge of the company or anything to do with it, but expect senior agents to do the job that the trainer cannot do - Get harassed on your days off if you say no to anything - Steal PTO - Will deny unemployment, even if they tell you that you are more than welcome to apply and receive it - No privacy in the company because they will post anything and everything about you, if you go to leave the company, but then quickly block you from all systems - Will talk to others about someone's medical issues without their consent - If you have an emergency, you are harassed or talked down to - Will discourage you about talking about pay with other coworkers (NEWS FLASH WHISKER IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO DO SO) - Will discourage friendships with other coworkers - Will berate you when other agents start rumors that are not true because they are all best friends and talk behind everyone's back - Remote agents get treated horribly if they are out of state while everyone in MI gets to have company meet ups and hang out. Remote agents are 9/10 left to work - They do not take you seriously if you ask to be removed from a specific team lead, even if you have proof - Have to interview for the simplest roles in the job, but even if you have experience (and years of it) they will deny you because they cannot keep enough agents for the phones - Hours of being yelled at by customers because the product malfunctions constantly or is broken in some way or the other

Pros

Work from home. Amazing customers. Inbound calls only.

Cons

Whisker is disappointing to work for in the following ways Unfair pay. Not 1 person will make the same pay as you. Even colleagues who do the exact same job as you. You'll find out so and so makes several more dollars then you per hour. Your people talk whisker! They do not base pay off education, experience or even seniority. I have to assume it's based off race, age, and how well you can lie on a resume.. training is a joke. Due to the lack of knowledge and information their leads know. Leadership is in charge of training. I was trained by Kirby who clearly did not know what a blue flashing light even was. Only to find out 80% of customers calling with an issue is due to a blue flashing. Whisker- why does leadership get paid a very wealthy salary but is not inforced to have knowledge of the product- business they are being paid to lead their employees on? How does a director of your company not know what all flashing on a litter robot 3 means? But tells us the best practice to follow when trouble shooting???. Why does the director of this company fire anyone who questions her? Leadership (leads) should know their team members. At Whisker your lucky if your boss knows your first name. Whisker use to be a family- now it's so bad you question why you work there. Because anyone with any moral compass would steer far and clear. Communication is so bad. When you ask questions someone does not like, you'll Be called to a meeting to discuss the reasons you may not be a culture fit. Because you embarrassed someone or made it apparent they weren't doing their jobs. I've never worked for a place that favors new hires more then their OG's. They will post internal positions. Only to fill those positions from without. Leaving employees to feel hopeless, Helpless and to wonder why not me?? They will fill roles from outside the organization and those new hires will have better pay and better promotions and positions. And you will be asked to train the new hires! You will work so hard to be noticed.. Only to be told sorry we think you are the best fit in the role your already in. Although your college background and resume would argue. Whisker can't measure your success or how well you do your job. As they have no quality control, and no way to measure production. It's PAINFULLY obvious you'll go nowhere within the organization. But they will tell you... your growth is important to them. The very only way you'll be noticed at Whisker. Is if your a favorite .. which requires skills I've never acquired! OR care to. Leadership is not held accountable. When you question why they are not made to support or guide you... you guessed it.... bye bye! Leadership literally is pretty comparable too a paper weight. Useless. Jacob, are you aware that you have leaders who fake meetings? Who put stuff on their calanders only to look busy? Are you aware that most of. Your leaders don't have any idea what it means to lead? Are you aware that most of the leads can't be bothered with questions regarding your products? Most of Leadership couldn't tell you what fairly how well someone is doing!! Or have the skills to manage a team of individuals. You keep them in meetings all day... for what?? They don't bring anything back to your staff. They ignore messages, and tell you they are busy or in a meeting and your stuck trying of provide the best services to your customers. They cant help They literally don't know how to.. who's making sure they even do their jobs? The director is biased and morally incorrect when it comes to relationships she has with some of her staff. So much to the point you can't go to her with any struggles. All she will do is undermind you the entire time! That's not directing! That's being a bully and being intimidating. Why has the director started several months ago, but has yet to meet the entire team? I could go on forever. But I think I've said enough for now.. I hope you can get this organization back to the place people are proud to work for. Maybe you should listen to what ppl say in those surveys.
