Pros
The amount of work you are expected to do is manageable, especially after you have learned how the department you are in operates. Once you learn the skills and know how to ship, spool, handle sales accounts, shield, cable, extrude, and supervise your daily work load is achievable. There are monthly bonuses.
Cons
Performance reviews and subsequent raise in pay is meager at best and is not performed annually. Years can go by with no raise in your annual income. Ability to advance from within company can be difficult. While there are some departments that offer higher pay, they usually have a very limited number of positions that seldom become available.
