Pros

Very nice people I worked with

Cons

I was fired for not hitting a 90 day quota, after only being allowed to solicit for 19 business days. "Your dedication was 2nd to none, you take instructions as one would take orders. However we don't like the tone in your voice so you are fired." I had the same tone when I was hired however. These folks hire people, take their leads and kick them out the door unprofessionally. One lady I spoke with, of the 29 fired in the last 25 months, told me she awoke one morning and her access to the company software had ben cut off. Nobody returned her calls, nobody told her she was terminated. She was just cut off without warning. Just save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Not worth it

Pros

The technology is advanced in the UCaaS space. Their WebRTC is a powerful value proposition. The company itself has the right vision from this aspect.

Cons

The company is arrogant and doesn't believe in the value of the partner relationship at all. It's their way or the highway. Ultimately this will be their downfall in the market. Specifically, the US management team is unqualified to grow the North American market to where it will need to be in order to be a real player. Once other competitors quicky catch up in the technology this arrogance will end up being crushed. They lack product capabilities in the areas of group chatting, Call center and reporting. From an aspect of employment, I believe they are out to squeeze people for the relationships they have and then you become disposable. The pay is not comparable to industry standards.

Pros

Solid UC platform (UCaaS). Competitive and feature-rich.

Cons

Management mistreats the employees and their partners. The company consistently changes course and policies with the partner channel and employee management. The company is based in the EU (Italy and Ukraine) and does not understand the North American partner channels. They prefer to manage the partners with a stick (threats and penalties) instead of a carrot (financial and other incentives). Wildix does not have any large partners, since they tend to attract the smaller partners who value the fat margins over the mistreatment from management. As an employee, you would be joining a perpetually revolving door of employees with average tenures of 6-9 months. So if you need a job while looking for a job, this is probably a good fit. Anyone who is experienced and has a good work ethic tends to leave on their own. Oh and the benefits are abysmal. The compensation plan for the sales staff changes 2-3 times a year, so whatever they say in the offer letter is not going to be honored. They add on additional qualifiers to prevent you from getting your full commissions.

Wildix Response

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We are sorry about your poor experience while working at Wildix and appreciate your honesty. One of Wildix's top priorities is continuous improvement and we are focused on improving our managers' skills to help them become the best leader they can be! Your feedback is valuable and we are already working on several aspects to make sure this kind of situation won't happen in the future. Wildix is an international company, we have offices around the globe (EMEA headquarter in Tallin, Estonia, Tech hub in Odessa, Ukraine, Sales, Marketing and other business functions in Italy, France, the UK, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and presence all over Europe). Wildix Inc. has a fantastic office based in Columbus, Ohio and your former team is made of very knowledgable people who come from the telco/UC industry in the USA, experts about North America channel partners who work relentlessly to make Wildix a successful and solid reality. Regarding your comments about attrition and retention in Wildix, I invite you to have a conversation with the HR team that can provide you way more solid and reliable data on this topic, rather than a personal assumption. It's true, benefits package for the US may not be the best, but a fast growing successful company open to feedback will change whatever is needed even 4 time a year until it finds what work best for the employees and the business. Good luck with your career pursuits.
