Pros

The Pay and Benefits was excellent

Cons

Constantly changing direction. Overall sense of confusion among employees. Leadership seems to have lost sight of what the company is at its core and what their purpose is, to serve its owner customers. Of course leadership will pay lip service and tell you the opposite but their actions tells employees and customers what they are really concerned with, patting themselves on the back. They put a terrible plan together and they are still making a lot of money while laying off hundreds of hardworking employees who did the job that was asked of them

Pros

Started there in 2014. Startup culture with high growth vision, generous benefits, talented colleagues, an inspiring place to work where most people were happy to be there and felt good about the future.

Cons

Culture shift after merger with United Suppliers. They pulled back on the benefits that made talented people want to work there. Restricted vehicle use, stopped issuing cell phones, no more social events, no more alcohol on work trips: things that made people like working there. And that was before the layoffs started. Bit by bit they decimated the sales force and the research groups, so it kinda made you wonder when you would get the call. People stopped being so excited about their jobs. Winfield really hurt themselves when they rejected a partnership with their biggest nationwide retail customer, and that customer ended up going a different direction totally and finding a new supplier. I'm not sure the present leadership is doing as well as Policinski.

Pros

Good work life balance and decent pay.

Cons

Many lay offs with more coming. Costs are not being cut in correct areas.
