Pros

The best advantage of working at WRE, and the primary reason why I chose WRE, is the potential growth of the company. In my short time with WRE, I have closed 4 acquisitions and there are more in the pipeline. With growth comes plenty of opportunities to learn and develop technical, interpersonal and leadership skills. The other great advantage of working at WRE, and the secondary reason I chose to work here, is the strength of the leadership team. Anyone who comes here, including myself, has the opportunity to learn from leaders who have been successful at prominent companies in the area like Clean Harbors, Iron Mountain, CVS and Deloitte. Personally, I think the Finance leadership team is one of the strongest teams I’ve worked for in my career. Additionally, the rest of the executive team has been very supportive of my work here at WRE so far.

Cons

We work hard at WRE because we are a fast growing company. It takes grit and teamwork for a company to be successful at doubling in size in less than 5 years. You will need to be accepting of the fact that some processes and systems are still in the development stages, or some may be non-existent currently, which is typical of small growing companies. To be successful at WRE, you need to have the proactivity, the desire and the ability to execute on making the company better. You will not know all the answers, but you need to be willing to independently dig and research to find the answers needed to execute your tasks successfully. Senior leadership does a great job at cascading quarterly communication of goals and objectives. Successful WRE employees are the ones that can independently engage their peers and successfully manage-up to execute on these goals and objectives. If you are willing work in this type of opportunistic environment, then you are the right person to work at WRE.

Cons

no personal time. won't even let you take time off for doctors appointment. force you to break federal D.O.T. laws (ie hours of service) 70-90 hours a week. treat you like an animal. no regard for employees health or well being whatsoever. force techs to sell products to customers whether they need them or not. encourage lying. miserable on call schedule.
