Pros

Diverse, friendly development team - good agile management/project tracking, with clear tasks

Cons

Management expects very fast output regardless of quality - expect to be working long hours. e.g. management mentioned one developer working several 12 hour days to get work complete for one of the wine festivals. Very large focus on getting new features out over anything else, quantity definitely prioritised over quality. This meant that there was a a lot of focus on AI generated code with no regards to quality or maintainability, and zero automated testing. Management definitely has a better understanding of the business aspects rather than the development side Fast-pace isn't unusual for a startup, and they're very transparent about the pace they expect, but there is definitely an unhealthy level of pressure and quality suffers as a result.
