Pros

The office was pretty cool. Some of the people there are nice as well but that is pretty much it.

Cons

Just about everything about this place is bad. Lets start with the lack of proper leadership. They promote people into positions they are not qualified for based on whose the boss' favorite. Constantly shifting roles into made up positions. The call reps are overworked and the supervisors online shop their entire shifts. There is really nowhere to go in this company beyond becoming a call center rep supervisor. They do not take any type of racial slurs or sexual harassment seriously. Also supporting a company when the product is consistently breaking is rough. Its hard to get behind a failing business. I understand that a startup is rough and things can be rocky but these people really have no idea what they are doing.

Pros

While at Wink for my 4+ years I worked with many hardworking, smart & talented people. Sadly since the acquisition many of these talented people have left. Wink has a great product but the leaders of the company are making bad decisions and not driving the business forward.

Cons

Lack of funding and leadership has lead to many accounts payables, contractors and employees not being paid. The once positive work environment is now tainted and dismal.

Pros

The culture here is positive, creative, and enthusiastic. People here take ownership in their company and want to make it the best it can be. A few weeks ago, one of the business development people was asking software developers if one of us could show her how to use the internal tool we use for generating technical documentation. The tool uses git version control and a local web server to generate documentation. Of course, she got volunteers to teach her. In no other company that I've worked for would a person in the biz dev corner be remotely interested in learning to use a software tool, or furthermore, a software developer interested in teaching her. The collaboration and sharing of knowledge makes this company a lot of fun.

Cons

We are doing something that is difficult and we are doing it fast. The people you work with are intelligent, hard-working, and friendly, so it is not a bad place to be, but the hours can be exhausting.
