      Pros

      Staff work hard but try to avoid the politics

      Cons

      CEO has created a dictatorship intent on feathering her nest with benefits, bonuses, and recognitions that look great on her resume but do not benefit the patient or improve the bottom line. She has made so many enemies in town that have now gone to La Crosse or Rochester. She was hired to head an independent hospital 50 minutes from Mayo....what are we independent from?

      Pros

      A few coworkers (who haven't been overtaken by management), who actually put the patients first. There a only a few.

      Cons

      The most hostile work environment you will ever encounter. Senior leadership train their managers to create an environment amongst staff full of doubt and constant mistrust and play staff against each other through manipulation tactics. All leadership/management staff members have meetings where they gossip and bash their staff they oversee in a shallow manner, from their personal life struggles, down to making jokes about how they look...I've seen it first hand. It's a bunch of unpopular and insecure adult women on a power trip!! It's like being back in middle school!

      A lot of great co-workers at this organization. You feel like family

      Leadership has some serious struggles. It is like a good old "girls" club. They are asking employees to fill out reviews to get scores up. All clinical managers are overloaded. Never saw Senior Leadership - "working at home" this week. Practice leadership
