Mission Unaccomplished

Pros

The benefits are really good, maybe the best around, which keeps US staff in golden handcuffs. Program staff and lower to mid-level ops staff are amazing people trying to do good work in the world.

Cons

Winrock is where passionate, mission-driven people lose their fire for the work and ultimately leave because they just can’t take it anymore. Executive leadership is completely out of touch with the reality of the communities they are supposed to be serving. Everything is about “new business”, not mission or impact. It’s a sad state.

Pros

Attentive leadership- Opened to listening to team members from all levels.

Cons

Not much opportunities to grow. Teams don’t really work together- Everyone kinda do their own things
