Pros

Some of the attorneys are nice. The support staff is friendly.

Cons

Watch out for the attorneys who let out their stress on you through verbal attacks. They are ungrateful for all of your hard work, use you as a punching bag and blame you for everything that goes wrong at the office and their lives. Having to walk on eggshells and constantly being abused is not a healthy work environment.

Probably the fairest Employer I've had

Pros

Very safe, positive place to work at. I've seen a lot of people who work at this company grow and take on higher positions. The good thing about this company, is they value and recognize employees that are productive and act as team members. They go out of their way to acknowledge employees that bring value to the firm. Any time I have brought up any concerns or if I am overloaded or need help, management has always been there to listen and do whatever they can to extend more help. I've never been at any other company with so many long tenured employees. There are dozens of employees that I know of that have worked at the company 5+ years and many that have worked there 10+ years and I know of a handful that have worked there 20, 25+ years. I believe there may be a couple that have worked there 30+ years. Another pro is that the firm pays for parking at the building. I know of some other law firms in the same area, that don't pay for your parking. And it can cost about $160-$400+ for parking a month, depending on how far you want to walk

Cons

Law firms can require a lot of work, tight deadlines and sometimes extended hours. I wouldn't recommend a legal job if you don't work with stress very well. Not a good place to try to stay under the radar and try to do the bare minimum. Not sure if it is a "con" per se, but you are expected to get your work done while you're at work. The good thing is, if you're a person that handles work well, there is a lot of room for growth. I have observed those those who work hard acknowledged excel well at the firm.

Pros

I've never had a more satisfying work environment. We work hard, but we work together. We support one another to be our best and to get the best results for our clients. The firm values education, collegiality, respect, creative thinking, collaboration, and chutzpa. The firm has adapted tremendously-well to WFH. I see a long and happy future here.

Cons

I've never had a need or concern that wasn't quickly and adequately addressed, so I guess I don't have any cons.
