Pros

Great irganization with an inspiring mission, great training and fun coworkers. Centrally located, good opportunity after college but nothing more

Cons

No guidance or mentorship, no funding, old technology, lacks challenge and defined goals. No upward mobility and relies greatly on interns

Cons

As with many non-profits, funding suffered during recession impacting expansion to N. CA rural areas.

Pros

There was a tight and friendly connection with colleagues in the offices. We had really good benefits and always exposed to direct contact with the clients.

Cons

Due to the economy and challenges for making the annual budget the older management team made strategic decisions that prioritized quantity over quality, and thereby lost part of its potency in fighting for the clients and its employees, focusing too much on the money making for a non-profit.
