Pros

On some occasions, employees might be working on a project with a celebrity or high-profile organization.

Cons

Wondros is run like a start-up even after 20 years of business. The Management Team is both infective and unprofessional gossip. They are not concerned with developing talent and allow angry misogynists to bully the employees. There are no standards set in place for processes, employee roles, or expectations. The multiple rounds of layoffs in 2021-22 imply a lack of foresight and planning.

Horrible Leadership, Poor Work-Life Balance

Pros

Insurance and 401(k) benefits are strong for salaried employees; the non-leadership employees are generally great people to work with

Cons

Leadership is completely inept. The new business department is virtually non-existent, which lead to frequent and massive rounds of layoffs. In my 4 years there, I saw 5 rounds of layoffs, and was ultimately part of them myself. Leadership is completely out of touch, frequently denying raises and bonuses while still flying first class everywhere and burning through hundreds of thousands of dollars on favors and side projects that made the company virtually no money. There's the classic "we're a big happy family" mentality, while work-life balance remains non-existent. I was not offered overtime pay as part of my employment but regularly received phone calls and had to work after hours on projects. Upper management will squeeze you for all your worth for pennies until their ineptitude results in layoffs because they weren't able to bring in new business. Also very little opportunity for advancement at the company.

Once a great company, but now mismanaged chaos

Pros

- Great colleagues, those who are left (minus leadership) - Great benefits (insurance, pto, etc.)

Cons

- The new president. She does not care about the employees who have been here for years and does not have a vision for the future - the company is now just lost. Jesse actually tried his best to care. - Mismanagement of funds leading to good people losing their jobs unfairly. - Blatant favoritism from leadership for those who know how to manipulate and have the best "poor me" sob story. - Honest, hard work is not valued, as just a handful of employees do all of the work, while others, who manipulate, are just getting paid. - Many, many rounds of layoffs have led to talented and kind individuals being laid off. It's sad to watch a good company become toxic.
