Pros

There are no pros. Conform to exactly what they are looking for (which by the way the won't tell you) or you are out.

Cons

I left a an extremely stable job that I had for over ten years to accept a position with this company because I believed that they could be great. I was fired on my FIRST day and in the FIRST hour of work with no explanation other than "You're not the same person that you were during the interview process." When I explained to the owner that I gave up everything stable in my life to come and work for him his response to me was, "Well I guess you need to find out if your other company will take you back." That is all of the explanation that I received. Totally unprofessional and unforgivable. I have a family to take care of and now I am left with nothing. Looks like whatever Christian church he attends doesn't teach patience or empathy.

Pros

Employee Appreciation Day, and Take a Break

Cons

Too many to list: But if you are seeing a positive feed on this IT IS MARKETING TEAM and MANAGEMENT trying to move the negative down to the bottom. In the time I worked there I saw: sexual harassment, racial discrimination, work bullies and harassment. CAN NOT MAKE IT UP. Although, the 40 year old kids of the owners have years of experience, they lack with listening to the professional people they hire. They did get better thru the years, but JUST KNOW YOU WILL WORK LIKE A DOG for not so much money if you work here. RAISES are far and few between, and when you get that it isn't much. Hardly any advancement opportunities. ** Almost forgot favoritism **

Pros

-Free coffee -Unlimited amount of smoke breaks -Some departments are great to work with

Cons

Working for Woods I felt that I took a huge step back in my career. I thought I was brought in to make an impact on the business, have a hand in some of the decision making with in my role, and to work towards constant improvement and future business needs. At least that was what I had been told in my interviews prior to accepting an offer. In reality, they were looking for someone to stay quiet and just do as they were told. The company proved that they did not value others opinions or insights especially if you happen to be a female. I remember one specific meeting that I was brought into and first thing that was said was by a male manager "I need you to put your big girl pants on." I was constantly belittled and degraded. I was asked to do things and witnessed things that were both morally and ethically wrong. Majority of these things were done by leadership within the company. I was asked to work on personal assignments for management that had nothing to do with my position or anything within the company. Any problem that would come up the management team would constantly point fingers at others and never take any sort of ownership. About a year ago I felt that the company was on the right track with rolling out their purpose statement "Redefine Our Industry" but like so many other things this fell to the way side because it didn't come easy and the purpose statement and training weren't enforced to the managers. The turnover for the company is insane due to lack of training and poor management. I grew to the point where I was embarrassed to tell others where I worked because of the way the company treated their employees and their customers.
